Let school be life
I have attended a conference to Mr. Christian Olivier a Research professor in teaching French language and i like to share some ideas with you.
He explained how school is preparing us for a virtual life.
He gave an example of someone attending a 30 hours course in a foreign language , then for the exam the teacher told him to write a letter in 150 words to his friend in this foreign contry to tell him about his wish to come for a visit.
Well in real life:
It is important to relate school to the real world, why not use Wikipedia or another web2.0 tool in writing and let the teacher be the helper and facilitator and let readers correct mistakes .

Well in real life:
- this student does not have a friend in this other country
- when you write a letter to someone you don't count the words
- nowadays you send an email more than write a letter
- when you write to a close friend you use emoticons and not just text and you say hi and not Dear friend
